About

Vicki J. Schaeffer holds a DMus degree from Indiana University, with a double major in organ performance and church music, having studied with Marilyn Keiser and Larry Smith. She also holds an MM degree from Kent State University and a BME degree from Mount Union College.

A church organist since the age of 14, Dr. Schaeffer is currently serving as Director of Music Ministries at St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church in Norman, OK, and Music Director at First Congregational Church of Norman, UCC. She is also currently Director of College Counseling at Heritage Hall, a private college prep school in OKC.

Schaeffer is serving her third term as Southwest Regional Councillor for the AGO and is Chair of the Board of Regional Councillors. She is also Vice President of Indiana Organists United, the alumni board for Indiana University organists.

A member of the Association of Anglican Musicians, Schaeffer maintains an active recital and workshop schedule throughout the region.
