About

Eileen Hunt currently serves as AGO Vice President/Councilor for Competitions and New Music. In her role as VP, she has chaired the Strategic Planning initiative, a process that is now entering its third and final year. She also serves as Director of the AGO Sexual Harassment Review Board which was begun in 2018.

She is active as a performer and has presented recitals throughout the US and in Europe, with a particular interest in performing new music. She has performed at national and regional conventions of the AGO. As a church musician, she has served parishes in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Dr. Hunt holds degrees in organ and musicology from Boston University, and she has studied in Paris with André Isoir and Jean Langlais. In her free time, she enjoys travel, reading, cooking, and cheering for her beloved Boston Red Sox. Eileen resides in Salem, Massachusetts with her husband, Mark English.
