About

Barbara Adler, DMA, is finishing her third and final term as Treasurer of the AGO. Having lived in several states, she has been an active AGO member, holding several offices and working on three Regional Conventions. She was on the AGO Development Committee for seven years, was Dean of two chapters, taught at universities and colleges, held several church positions, and has presented a variety of workshops.

For several years she was a financial advisor and enjoyed teaching her clients the basics of the stock market and investing. Looking back, Adler says, “If only I had known these basics at a younger age, I would be wealthy!”

This is the fourth time she has presented this workshop at an AGO convention, hoping to encourage people to invest at the earliest possible age. Her current home is in Ithaca NY, where she enjoys spending time with her grandson.
