Location: Cathedral of St. Philip
The glorious acoustic and magnificent Æolian-Skinner organ of Atlanta’s Episcopal Cathedral of St. Philip provides the setting for a service of choral evensong presented by the Cathedral Choir, Dale Adelmann, and Jack Mitchener. Dr. Catherine Meeks, executive director of the Absalom Jones Center for Racial Healing, will offer the sermon and the Cathedral’s dean, the Very Reverend Sam Candler will serve as officiant.
This 5:00pm evensong will be preceded at 4:30pm by a recital given by the 2020 NYACOP winner.
